**形容词最高级** 是英语里比较级的一部分，表示：

|
||
> **三个或三个以上的人/事物中“最……”的那个。**
|
||
|
||
比如：
|
||
|
||
- Tom is **the tallest** boy in his class.
|
||
汤姆是班里**最高的**男孩。
|
||
- This is **the most interesting** book.

## 1. 最高级的基本形式
|
||
|
||
### 1）一般在形容词后加 **-est**
|
||
|
||
- tall → tallest
|
||
- small → smallest
|
||
- long → longest
|
||
|
||
### 2）以 **e** 结尾，直接加 **-st**
|
||
|
||
- large → largest
|
||
- nice → nicest
|
||
|
||
### 3）“辅音字母+y”结尾，变 **y 为 i** 再加 **-est**
|
||
|
||
- easy → easiest
|
||
- happy → happiest
|
||
|
||
### 4）重读闭音节，末尾只有一个辅音字母时，双写再加 **-est**
|
||

- big → biggest

### 5）多音节形容词常在前面加 **most**
